Back, back, warning track, gone! AJ belts a 3-run homer for the Chicago White Sox. It's his first homer with the new club. Watch the home run here:

Why hello Mr. President. AJ wins a World Series ring with the Houston Astros and attends the White House ceremony. Watch the ceremony here:


July 2016

It has the distance! AJ hits his first major league homer. He would play 45 games for the Astros in the 2016 season. Watch the Hautian's first MLB homer here:


June 2014

Houston, we have a problem. The Houston Astros select AJ with the 42nd overall pick. Watch AJ in a press conference following the his team introduction:

National player of the year. USA Baseball presents AJ the Golden Spikes Award, joining the company of Kris Bryant, Bryce Harper, and Buster Posey to name a few.

Pitchers can't hit? AJ has a 12-2 pitching record with a 2.09 ERA, while leading the nation in home runs. The kid is big time. Watch his Kentucky highlights here:

February 2012

Lexington, here I come. AJ signs with the University of Kentucky over other programs. AJ considered Indiana State, but ultimately went with the Wildcats.

July 2011

Indiana's Mr. Baseball. You can make the argument that Indiana has never seen a player dominate both sides the ball like AJ did. Watch AJ react to the news here:

Through thick and thin. AJ would win a sectional championship every year at South. Senior year, he would lead them to the Final Four. Watch AJ as a South Brave:

May 2005
